My life, my focus and my passion centers on this concept: that we can impact culture, that we can impact the world in positive ways through the development of creative ideas and creative communications. During the past nearly 12 years as a partner in and part owner of The Image Group (www.imagegroup.com), a creative communications firm, I have been able to put this passion to work.

At The Image Group, we work with a variety of clients operating in significant cultural-impacting arenas like education and healthcare. I have played a key role in the development and building of our education practice. Through this experience, we have had the unique opportunity to work with many world-class education organizations around the country, including higher education institutions, K-12 school systems, for-profit ventures and nonprofit foundations. From the development of buzz-worthy, attention-grabbing external marketing campaigns to powerful collateral pieces, videos, websites and social marketing activities, The Image Group is committed to give a good portion of our time, talents and treasures to positively promote education institutions and their causes. I can’t think of a better culturally impacting arena on which to focus our time and energy then our educational systems and the gifted people who make them work.

I also enjoy bringing a global perspective to our agency. My journeys have taken me around the country and around the globe, from Alaska to Australia and many points in between. All told, my professional and personal travels have taken me to more than 40 countries and territories, 6 continents—and to all 50 states in our own country. For me, both the benefits of travel and the benefits of education and the parallels that I draw from them are key to broadening the mind, to embracing new ideas and cultures, to growing intellectually and spiritually, and to staying young.
